If I could choose my a)--idealidealisticidealless house, it would be in a small village in a European country, in a mild climate, somewhere not too hot, not too cold because I'm not really one for the hot weather. I'd rather live in a fairly large village to escape b)--leaps and boundsthe hustle and the bustleups and downs of the city and to be c)--nearcloseproximal to nature, that way I can live in a community where I can get to know the people, without having to live in each other's d)--pocketspacketsbags. When it comes to the style of a house, I think I'd go for a traditional cottage, but I would e)--developrenovaterenew the inside so it has all the mod f)--adsproscons. So first of all, the outside, I'd like a good sized garden so I can grow my own fruits and vegetables. The house we have a patio too, with an outdoor kitchen, so I could cook, eat, entertain guests outside, well, weather permitting. As far as the g)--inferiorexteriorinterior decor goes, I would opt for wooden floors in most rooms, maybe carpets in bedrooms for extra comfort, and tiles in the indoor kitchen. I'd like a really spacious h)--open-airopen-planopen-door kitchen that merges into the main living area.

And then there's the facilities. So I don't care too much about high tech amenities, you know, like automatic curtains and that. But I would need a good internet connection so that I could work and browse the internet from home. I guess it goes without saying I'd like a nice big Smart TV. But the i)--cherryicingcream on the cake for me would be to have an indoor swimming pool and a gym so that I could work out and keep in shape from the comfort of my own j)--homeplacehouse.

1. How could we make inner-city housing better?

To start with, I think city governments have to plan a)--househousinghome for the long term, and to do it in a holistic way. b)--By what I meanBy that I meanBy that I know, when they design housing developments, they need to think about how that connects with the whole city c)--fracturesysteminfrastructure, such as public transport. For example, in my city, a social housing development was built in a greenbelt area, but it didn't connect with the new bus d)--roadsroutesways and trams that were built a year later. So, the people who needed public transport the most, couldn‘t e)--make useaccessassess it easily at all.
